Terms of Service

1. Web Design

NextStep Modern Solutions offers web design services under two pricing models. The model applicable to your engagement is agreed in writing before work begins.

Model 1 — Retainer (Rent-to-use)

—Client pays a one-off build fee upfront before work begins.

—Once the client approves the finished website, a monthly retainer begins.

—NextStep retains full ownership of the website at all times. The client is licensing its use, not purchasing it.

—The retainer includes unlimited ongoing support: bug fixes, content changes, amendments, and general maintenance.

—A minimum 12-month commitment applies from the retainer start date, after which the agreement rolls monthly.

—30 days written notice is required to cancel after the minimum term has elapsed.

—Upon cancellation, the client loses access to the website. NextStep is under no obligation to transfer files, code, or any associated assets.

—No refunds are issued on the build fee or any retainer payments under any circumstances.

Model 2 — Full Purchase (One-off)

—Client pays a one-off fee agreed before work begins and owns the website outright upon full payment.

—NextStep assists with domain setup and handover only.

—No ongoing support, maintenance, bug fixes, or changes are included after handover.

—There is no retainer and no ongoing commitment under this model.

—No refunds are issued once work has begun.

—After handover, NextStep holds no responsibility for the website's performance, security, or upkeep.

2. Social Media Management

Where social media management services are engaged, the following terms apply.

—Services cover content scheduling and posting only.

—Posting frequency and platforms are agreed in writing before the service begins.

—NextStep is not responsible for platform-side issues including algorithm changes, account restrictions, or changes in organic reach.

—A minimum 12-month commitment applies, after which the agreement rolls monthly.

—30 days written notice is required to cancel after the minimum term has elapsed.

—No refunds are issued on payments made.

3. General Clauses

—The client is responsible for providing accurate content, assets, and approvals in a timely manner.

—Delays caused by the client do not affect billing schedules or payment obligations.

—NextStep retains ownership of all work produced until payment has been made in full.

—The client grants NextStep the right to display completed work in its portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to project completion.

—These terms constitute the full agreement between the parties and supersede any prior discussions or representations.

—NextStep reserves the right to update these terms at any time with 30 days written notice to the client.

—These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
